General Framework

This document describes the actions taken at Lexitrados.com – within the scope of the GDPR and will always be available in its latest version, for public consultation, at https://lexitrados.com/rgpd/

Data Protection Officer (DPO)

Considering the dimension and activity of the company, it is not necessary to appoint a DPO, the person responsible for data protection is LEXITRADOS – Tradução e Comunicação Unipessoal, LDA., which can be contacted by email at info@lexitrados.

Consent and information to data providers

Lexitrados.com will inform, whenever it collects data, its holders what use will be given to them, as well as their retention period or possible transfer. Whenever data is collected, express consent is requested for their use, if necessary.

If there is any breach of security, which results in a risk to the rights of data subjects, Lexitrados.com undertakes to communicate to the control authorities appointed by the Portuguese State, as well as to the respective data subjects.

Exercise of the rights of data providers

Data providers will be allowed to consult, portability, rectify or delete them, with all requests duly recorded, monitored and documented.

All requests can be made to the company’s general email, info@lexitrados.com.

The form of consultation, portability, rectification or elimination will be analyzed and defined on a case-by-case basis, depending on the platform(s) where we have user data in question.

Security measures taken in data transmission: All communication between the server and the user is carried out over a secure HTTP protocol, using an SSL digital certificate.

Contact form: Information regarding the use of the data entered in the form was added, only within the scope of the contact made.

We consider that all users who registered before May 25, 2018, through the specific newsletter form, have explicitly given their consent to receive it, as the form has no other purpose.

From May 25th, the newsletter will only be sent to those who gave their consent, either because they initially signed up through the specific form or because they did so through the link present in the newsletters sent in the meantime.
